At Sage Solutions we are firm believers that adults learn better and are more engaged in the training when its taught by their peers. Connect us to a member of your organization and we will co-facilitate with them. We can provide them with slides and handle all the prep-call logistics.

Advocacy 101
This training provides a general overview of why and how to engage in advocacy on a state and/or federal level. Attendees will walk away feeling empowered to support your legislative agenda.
PAC 101
This training is designed to provide attendees with an overview of what a PAC is and its role in supporting a legislative strategy. While it does not overtly solicit your attendees, it does de-mystify PACs while promoting their importance.
Civics 101
Most individuals need a refresher in how a bill becomes a law and how a law is implemented. This training can be done for a state or federal level and teaches attendees when in the process they can engage in advocacy.
Know Before You Go
Are your attendees traveling to Washington, DC for a fly-in or are they coming to your state’s capitol for a lobby day? This training will help them prepare by teaching them how to research their lawmakers, tailor their narrative for each lawmaker, and explain what they can expect during the meeting.
Advocacy Programing
In this training, we promote your advocacy programing by explaining what each program is and why the program is important to supporting your organization’s legislative agenda. Attendees receive an “insiders” understanding of how to influence lawmakers.
Building a Relationship with a Lawmaker
This training provides a step-by-step overview of how an individual can build a relationship with their lawmaker. We review how to write influential emails, how to schedule and prepare for a meeting, and the importance of follow-up after the meeting.
Developing Your Narrative
Your advocates have a story to tell and it’s a powerful one. This training explains why personal narratives are important, what information should be included, and helps attendees develop their own elevator speech.
How to be an Effective Fundraiser
Peer-to-peer fundraising is one of the most effective ways to increase donations. In this training, we help your stakeholders learn how to engage a prospective donor, get over their fears of asking for a donation and how to perform proper follow-up. If we are training PAC stakeholders, we will also review the importance of compliance.
How to Research Your Lawmakers
This training teaches attendees where to look for information on their lawmakers, what information is pertinent, and how they can use that information to influence their lawmakers or build a relationship with them.
